Bio
Ausra is an actress and writer based in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a child she pursued rhythmic gymnastics and became a bronze medalist in 2004 national championship. Ausra later turned to play chess and reached a national rank with a FIDE rating.
She was an avid traveller before graduating from Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with a BA in Acting in 2019. She wrote a screenplay for the film In the Dusk (2019) which was selected for Cannes Film Festival as well as competed at San Sebastian International Film Festival. In 2021 her poetry was selected for a compilation of Lithuanian female poets and was included in a book Women Are Poems. She speaks fluent English and French.
